Project Engineering and Commercialisation Manager
Peter is a petroleum engineer with over 15 years industry experience, including a prior role as executive director role at an AiM-listed exploration company. Peter has extensive experience evaluating and delivering oil and gas corporate and asset transactions within independents, supplemented by consulting on megaproject developments for major oil companies.
Prior to joining Twinza, Peter was a senior project executive at Independent Project Analysis (IPA), an international project consultancy reviewing capital project performance. At IPA he conducted more than 50 oil and gas project evaluations in different phases of the project life-cycle, including many of the most significant developments being undertaken in the world at the time.
Peter holds Masters Degrees in Engineering from the University of Cambridge and in Petroleum Engineering from the University of NSW.
PNG Gas Project Development Manager
Erick is a PNG national and has been involved in the upstream Exploration and Production scene of the oil & gas sector since 2005 following gaining his Bachelor's degree at the University of Queensland. He has production engineering experience, starting with CH4 Gas (now Arrow Energy) in coal bed methane production, then with Oil Search Limited in the PNG highlands. Erick brings project management and concept development experience to Twinza, drawing on his global upstream capital projects assessment experience with Independent Project Analysis (IPA).
Erick has a BEng in Chemical Engineering from Queensland University and a Masters Degree in Oil and Gas Engineering from Aberdeen University.
Facilities Project Manager
Simon is a Chartered Engineer with more than 20 years experience in designing, building, and managing energy infrastructure projects from small scale LNG through to some of the world's largest offshore facilities. He has led or been involved with more than 50 projects in the oil and gas sector across Asia, Africa, Europe and the Middle East. Simon is skilled at developing technical solutions, economic evaluations, financial models and development plans.
Prior to joining Twinza, Simon was Business Development Manager with ThyssenKrupp Industrial Solutions, following its acquisition of Energy & Power, an engineering consultancy specialising in LNG projects, where Simon was Business Manager for Asia. In previous years he has held lead engineering roles in Bechtel Ltd, KBR & MW Kellogg and Foster Wheeler.
Simon has a Master's Degree in Natural Sciences and Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge and an MBA from INSEAD.
Environmental and Corporate Social Responsibility Manager
Salvatore has over 35 years of wide ranging experience in the upstream and downstream oil and gas sector working with small, medium and major companies. A geologist for 20 years, he brings a robust understanding of onshore and offshore upstream operations to his role. Salvatore served on Thai governmental taskforces as environmental lead for environmental impact assessment and decommissioning guidelines for the Thai oil and gas industry, and formerly held environmental and CSR positions on major projects, with Amerada Hess, Coastal Energy and most recently Shell.
He has a BA in Geography and Geology, from the University of Keele, a Post Graduate Diploma in Environmental Impact Assessment, from the University of Wales, and a Post Graduate Certificate in Advanced Environmental and Energy Studies from the University of East London.
Wayne Spencer is Geoscience Manager for Twinza and is a petroleum geologist with a broad range of technical and managerial experience and 35 years in the industry, most of that in Asia. He has a strong track record of managing successful exploration projects and was previously responsible for managing Premier Oil’s exploration business in Asia.
At Premier Oil Wayne reported to the Exploration Director and supervised Premier’s Indonesia and Vietnam Exploration teams as well as Asia Exploration New Ventures. His responsibilities included strategy planning & implementation, budget planning & management, organization management, portfolio management and G&G quality assurance.
Wayne holds a BSc in Geology from University of Calgary.
PNG Commercial Manager
Roppe is a PNG national and a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPAPNG). He has five years experience with Deloitte Corporate Finance, rising up to Manager of Corporate Finance in PNG. Roppe holds a BA in Economics and Accounting.
